INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH ANIMALS?

 Orientations take about an hour to complete. Our Volunteer orientation dates are scheduled for the following:

• Thursday, March 8^th, 6:00p.m.
• Thursday, March 22^nd, 6:00p.m.
• Saturday, March 31^st, 1:00p.m.

To attend an orientation, please leave your name and contact number with the front desk staff, so we can add you to our ‘Orientation list’. Please ensure you sign up for an orientation. In the event that we have to reschedule the orientation and we have your name on the ‘Orientation list’, we will contact you ahead of time and inform you of these changes.

Also please make sure you have filled out a ‘Volunteer Application’ form before the orientation. You can ask the front desk staff for this form. If you have any questions please call us at 780-538-4030. Thank you for volunteering!

Shelter Bombshells is the 2012 Calendar going on sale late September to raise money for the Grande Prairie & District SPCA!

Each month we have paired up a beautiful pinup "bombshell" with an animal adopted from the SPCA!

This calendar is 100% local (including the animals and bombshells). Support your roots with the Grande Prairie & District SPCA! 

Calendars will launch on October 7th at Canadian Tire! You can pick up your copy at the SPCA or watch for us throughout the community! Calendars are $25/ each with all proceeds going to the SPCA!

February is membership month at the SPCA! If you are a member, please remember to renew your membership in February or at the AGM meeting.

Not a member? No problem! Memberships are available to anyone who is interested. Memberships are an annual fee of $10 and are renewed every February. So what are you waiting for? Become a member of the Grande Prairie & District SPCA today!


As a member of the Grande Prairie & District SPCA you are entitled to the following:

• a Voice for the animals in the SPCA facility
• An annual SPCA Membership Newsletter
• An opportunity to help us care for homeless animals in our Community.
