Coming Soon: Camp Many Paws! Parents, are you looking for something a little different and lots of fun for your children this summer?The Grande Prairie & District SPCA will soon be accepting registrations for its all-new Camp Many Paws! Beginning July 8, seven weekly camps will be offered throughout the summer; each offering something unique from the week before.Camps will run between the hours of 10AM and 4PM, Monday to Friday, at a cost of only $195 per week which includes Snacks & a T-Shirt. Children between the ages of six and 10 will take part in a number of activities while learning about animal safety, how to care for pets, what veterinarians and vet techs do, and more! Each week will include both indoor and outdoor activities in a fully supervised, safe environment, as well as short trips.Be sure to check our website regularly and camp planning updates! Only 12 children per week will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with full payment. |
ARE YOU A PARTY ANIMAL?
Then have your next Birthday Party at the Grande Prairie & District SPCA. Not only do we promise you a fantastic time but best of all, the proceeds from the party go right back to help the animals! Now that's a reason to party.
The party goers will get to do a fun craft with the instructor that they get to take home with them. They then get to go on a tour of the adoption floor and see all the animals. After the tour, they get time for cake and presents and any other activities the parent my have planned.
We Provide:
- a qualified party instructor for 2 1/2 hours
- A sink, counter space and fridge
- Animal presentations
- Tour of the shelter
- All the set up and clean up
- A spatula, knife and a lighter
- A craft activity
Parent Provides:
- Loot bags
- Food including cake
- Drinks
- Decorations if required
- Paper products (plates, cutlery, napkins, cups)
